Billy L. Greer is an ASQC Certified Quality Auditor who has been providing quality services to the coal and minerals industry since 1981. He is a member of the American Society for Quality Control (ASQC), the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM), and the Alpha Chi Sigma professional chemistry fraternity. He has been a member of the Maryland Coal Association since 1982 where he has served as secretary-treasurer, vice-president, president and as an advisor. He has also served on the CTAC subcommittee on Coal Transportation which formulated regulations for the safe transport of coal in bulk.

His past experience includes the design of laboratory layouts, the development of procedures, the installation, maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment, and the operation, maintenance, repair, and bias testing of many types of mechanical samplers.

Mr. Greer is experienced with using various standards and methods for the collection, preparation, and analysis of samples of coal, coke, ferroalloys, minerals, and other commodities. He has trained and supervised others in the performance of these activities, and has inspected and audited companies using them in both the United States and in other countries.

Mr. Greer has been recognized by Who's Who Among Rising Young Americans, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, the Dictionary of International Biography and other publications.
